What happens when you are stuck in a country you have just reached as a tourist for a vacation? You had dreamt of enjoying the vacation you and your family had been looking forward from ages once the pandemic had hit. It seems like a new life, every experience seems alien, seems raw and new….it seems you have lost touch with what a vacation could be, how to travel and how to familiarize with the locals and new surroundings. You have been trying to learn some new words so that you can talk to the locals while bargaining in the local shops to buy souvenirs for friends and family back home but you feel you are slow now to learn this art of grasping a new language with super speed. You have already mapped the activities you would do over the vacation, marked to the last minute in the schedule. You have bought the tickets to the theme parks you would take your kids to as a surprise, double checked if the dates and timings of each are correct.
But a sudden incidence has shattered that dream, you are in despair, what now, what next, who to reach out to, how to get help……Your mind is filled with these questions but it does not give you solutions. You feel like being in alien land, not knowing WHO can be your helper and savior…..
#Travelisback , you had just uploaded your photo on social media with the hashtag to let the world know what it feels to experience the exotic vacation again, the photo also reminds you of the times you have lost to the pandemic but also indicates the hope it brings now….Everything will be back to normal soon….Things are already falling in place but this sudden roadblock to your dream vacation makes you feel uneasy and you don’t want to check your social media accounts to check the reactions of your friends and family. You don’t feel like clicking another snap also, and are losing interest in what was planned ahead for the day and not even bothered if you miss them. You see around and find your kids still excited about what’s coming up next during the day, you do not want to disappoint them but don’t know what to do.
In these moments, your spouse reminds you about the travel insurance
you have purchased and with an adrenaline rush, you look at the soft copy of the policy, dial the customer CARE number and first few moments on the phone calms you down…you are now relaxed…the smile which was there while touchdown in the new country is slowly coming back now….The call is over, you tell your family ‘Care’ is on its way and you order the coffee you had thought of ordering but could not as you realised you had lost your passport…But with a call for ‘TRAVEL WITH CARE’ now you know, the issue is in right hand and right people who will go to any length to deliver CARE and ensure you ‘TRAVEL WITH CARE’ and not with anxiety.
