This video talks about the process to claim reimbursement after treatment that is done at a non-network hospital. A lot of times, it might happen that the hospital where the insured gets his treatment might not be among the list of network hospitals. This might be due to the location and presence of the hospital in vicinity, emergency or due to the preferred doctor. Hence, in case of such a scenario, one cannot avail cashless claim for their health insurance plan and incurred expenses has to be reimbursed. The process for reimbursement starts with submitting all the hospital bills and invoices with the insurance provider. Post that, one need to provide all the mandatory documents at the nearest branch. An alternate option is that one can also upload all the document on Insurance wallet app (download via playstore/iOS). If the claim amount is up to 20k, it can be settled via insurance wallet itself. However, in case of bigger amounts, we need to follow the regular method of document submission and reimbursement process mentioned earlier.
