The Universal Travel Pass is a QR code-based e-pass. It permits fully vaccinated people to use public transport and get entry into all the public places like the mall, offices, etc. In association with the Indian Railways, it was introduced by the Maharashtra State Disaster Management Authority. It is done to permit completely vaccinated people against COVID-19 to easily travel in monorails, metros, and local trains in Mumbai. The Universal Travel Pass has now been adopted by the Indian government for all its citizens. Any Indian citizen who has received both doses of COVID-19 vaccine shots can easily apply for the Universal Travel Pass. The Universal Travel Pass is entitled only to adults and not children. Apart from them, any business establishment that is in the medical, educational, or utility sector is also eligible to apply for the Universal Travel Pass. An individual may apply for the Universal Travel Pass at least 14 days after the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine shots. In case an individual applies for it, before the 14 days time frame, the pass will only be received post completion of 14 days. Standard T&C apply
